Hi! It’s been a while, I know. No excuses for me, I have just enjoyed my third pregnancy and motherhood.
So let’s talk sewing! I had the pleasure to test the last patterns released by Cali Faye Collection, the Trophy Jackey and Joggers.
** NO MORE VALID ** Until May 1, 11:59 pm EST you can save 30% off your entire purchase at Cali Faye Collection with the coupon code NEWRELEASE
The Trophy Jacket is a tailored cropped jacket for little girls. The pattern has two versions, one with zipper and one with drape front. I went for the second one with no modification. Size is 4 years and the fit is just right (I have to say my girl is more on the petite side). The pattern is for intermediate sewers, but with Sarah’s instructions I think also a trained beginner could do it.
The fabric is from my stash and if you have a trained eye you can recognize that is the same used for my Brenna coat. The sparkly one is wool with some % of polyester, the blue one is 100% wool. For the lining, I used a quilting cotton, also from my stash.
