We are almost in the middle of the winter, when temperatures really drops and spring is too far. Since the weather is not for strolling, usually I can adventure myself in more complicated sewing. I did for Christmas a coat and I am dreaming of another one. So here some inspirations.
Brenna coat was my last made and it was so a pleasure sewing it, that I would like to sew another one. It is a very trendy silhouette, so the inspirations are many, you can go plain, tartan, double color or double fabric (leather and wool, ohhhhh yes!)
Very popular last year in the sewing community was the Gerard coat, a boyfriend cut coat, really versitile and really comfortable. I would go for a tweed wool there.
Brand new coat pattern is the Freemantel by Marilla Walker (thank you Ingrid for the link). I love that she proposes so many variations and the raglan sleeve are so cool. Here above some ideas.
Have a nice start of the week!!!
Love them all – have you seen Marillas coat pattern? https://www.etsy.com/dk-en/listing/215705872/freemantle-coat-and-jacket-pattern?ref=shop_home_active_2
