Camisole and another two pieces

One of the last trends for this summer is camisole. I have seen them pop up in fashion blogs as well in sewing ones. It seems to be a must! So why not to try my version? I had some leftover from the Iris shorts and I wanted to give it a try.

When I had the idea of the camisole, I didn’t want to take the time to look around and check available patterns, so I have taken the trustfully Sorbetto tank and modified to have a very simple camisole. I have modified the upper part and the armholes shape, made some spaghetti straps (not really spaghetti, the fabric is a bit too bulky) and voila’.

To take pictures I have paired with the Iris shorts, in the same fabric. I am not really convinced this outfit works for me, the blue chambray makes it very uniform, almost a jumpsuit. What do you think? Maybe paired with a kimono jacket?

Have a nice long week end, tomorrow is holiday and I will enjoy summer!
